I didn't get to tape Connor rolling over for the first time so we decided to try again last night. Unfortunately Connor wanted nothing of it. Here is a video of our closest attempt:

It has been a week and we have been very busy! Connor is now 9 weeks old and so he thinks he is a superhero:

We also had a wonderful visit with friends Jen and Eli. The boys stared at each other and then we took a walk. Afterwards we attempted a picture of the two of them:

We then cheesed it up for the camera:

We took advantage of the nice weather and planted some of our garden. Connor was a huge help:

We visited Grandma and Grandpa Forney. Connor watched the race with Auntie Ellen (his driver was losing):

And the cat slept in Connor's bed:

We also learned that we need to make sure to take care of Connor's hair after bathtime. Otherwise it ends up like this:

2 month stats...

Connor went to the doctor yesterday for his 2 month appointment. He weighs 9 lbs 11 oz (10th percentile) and is 23 inches long (52nd percentile). The worst part of the appointment was the fact that he got shots. Matt came along as I was certain I wouldn't be able to handle it on my own. He cried for about 10 minutes afterwards (I fed him in order to calm him down) and then he fell fast asleep.

8 weeks...

Our little man is 8 weeks old now and enjoys sitting up in the Boppy very much!

Happy Easter!

Yes I am a day late but we had a very busy and full day with family yesterday!

Connor had some cute Easter pjs which he didn't enjoy wearing:

The Easter bunny really had fun with Connor's basket...giving him not one but TWO Elmos!

Can you tell that my boy loves Elmo????

After dissecting the basket, we got him all dressed up for church! His outfit was a hit!!

After a brief stop at Grandma and Grandpa Forney's (mostly to eat and change), we headed to Nanny's and Connor met Great-Auntie Darlene:

And his 2nd cousin Shane, who is 9 months old. It was very challenging to get a picture of the two boys (both clad in sweater vests) but I think this was one of the bests!!!

Then Veta and Keira came along, which didn't make the boys too happy but we tried our best to get a picture of the four of them (it was getting close to nap time for the boys!)

So Shane went up for a nap and Connor slept on Daddy:

We then returned to Grandma and Grandpa's where he was in Easter outfit #3 (his Chicks Adore Me outfit)

Overall it was a wonderful and exhausting day....we hope everyone had a wonderful holiday as well!!!

Off to the beauty parlor

Yesterday I took Connor to the beauty parlor! Well, actually it is my step-sister-in-law's studio in her basement. He got the chance to meet his Auntie Vicki:

Overall, it was a great visit!!! We hope to see them again soon!

7 weeks...

7 weeks old and sitting up in his stroller....where did my little baby go????????????

What a big boy we have!!!!

Newest feat....

Besides eating every 1.5 to 2 hours (we think Connor is having a growth spurt), Connor has discovered that sitting up is the best thing!! (He gets very upset when he can't sit up!)

He is growing up way too fast....

Mystery

We have a mystery on our hands....

Connor is asleep but something is wrong....
